THP Announces June 12 Sobriety Checkpoints

The Tennessee Highway Patrol has announced sobriety checkpoints for Friday, June 12.

In Giles County, troopers will conduct a checkpoint on U.S. Highway 31 at the 9.5-mile marker. In Lawrence County, a checkpoint is planned on U.S. Highway 43 North at the 23.4-mile marker.

Additional checkpoints are scheduled in Bedford County on State Route 82 South at the 6.5-mile marker, in Hickman County on Old Highway 46 at Missionary Ridge Road, and in Maury County on U.S. Highway 412 approximately 300 feet east of Booker Ridge Road.

The checkpoints are part of the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s ongoing efforts to reduce impaired driving and improve roadway safety.
