Saint Joseph Takes Action on Condemned Properties

The City of Saint Joseph took action, condemning several temporary structures after receiving numerous citizen complaints regarding a Shelton Drive property.  Concerns were expressed regarding an elderly property owner and possible illegal activity.  During the operation Saint Joseph Police officers report finding that one person was in possession of drug paraphernalia and was subsequently arrested.  All other persons present were trespassed from the property and were advised that returning could result in their arrest.  The city encourages residents to continue to report suspicious activity and unsafe conditions.
