Lawrence, Wayne County Responders Assist at Crash Near County Line

Lawrence County EMS is highlighting the importance of cooperation between neighboring emergency agencies following a recent motor vehicle crash near the Wayne and Lawrence county line.

According to the department, responders were dispatched earlier this week to a crash involving injuries, but the exact location of the incident was initially unknown. As a result, emergency personnel from both Lawrence and Wayne counties responded to the scene and assisted the patient.

Lawrence County EMS said the incident demonstrates the value of mutual aid agreements and the working relationships that exist between neighboring emergency service agencies.
