Beatrice Madge Stanley

Beatrice Madge Stanley, 93, of Florence, passed away June 2, 2026, at her residence.  She was a native of Olney, IL, and was an RN and worked in the nursing field from 1952 – 2017 for a total of 65 years of service in (5) states and (3) countries and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She married Robert Harold Stanley, Sr., on Jan. 4, 1952, and they were together until he passed away on May 19, 1981.

Survivors include:

Sons:  Robert Bruce Stanley(Sonya), of Florence, AL; James Albert Stanley(Ann), of Dudley, GA; &

Robert Harold Stanley, Jr.(Kim), of Thomasboro, IL

Daughter:  Jeanine Maude Marie Stanley(Shannon), Jeffersonville, KY

(20) Grandchildren;  (25) great grandchildren

Husband:  Robert Harold Stanley, Sr.

Parents:  James Volney Hundley & Maude Lennon Hundley

Daughter:  Brenda Carol Stanley

Visitation will be Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 1:00 – 2:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm, in the funeral home chapel with Nightingale Honors.  There will be a graveside service and burial on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the National Cemetery in Danville, IL.
