The Tennessee Highway Patrol has announced sobriety checkpoints for Friday, June 5.
In Lawrence County, troopers will conduct a checkpoint on U.S. Highway 43 South at the 2.9-mile marker. In Giles County, a checkpoint will be held on State Route 11 at the 13.1-mile marker. In Lewis County, troopers will conduct a checkpoint on Highway 48 West at Topsy Road. In Lincoln County, a checkpoint is planned on State Route 122 at the 1.1-mile marker east of Elora.
The checkpoints are part of the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s ongoing efforts to reduce impaired driving and improve roadway safety.
