The City of Lawrenceburg has been awarded a $42,300 grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission to support the replacement of stage lighting at the historic Crockett Theatre.

According to city officials, the project will modernize the theatre’s lighting system with new energy-efficient technology designed to enhance performances, improve reliability, and help ensure the venue continues to serve as a destination for arts, entertainment, and community events.

City officials expressed appreciation for the Tennessee Arts Commission’s support, noting that the funding will help preserve and strengthen one of Lawrenceburg’s historic landmarks for future generations.

The project is funded through a grant contract with the State of Tennessee and the Tennessee Arts Commission.
