24th Annual Homecoming & Southern Heritage Festival Scheduled June 20 in Chapel Hill

The 24th Annual Homecoming & Southern Heritage Festival will be held Saturday, June 20, from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM at the Forrest Boyhood Home, located at 4435 Pyles Road in Chapel Hill.

The event will feature mounted cavalry, infantry and artillery reenactors, historical speakers, musical entertainment, historical programs, a Confederate silent auction, and Southern sutlers. A concession stand with food and cold drinks will also be available.

Admission is $10 for adults. Children under 6 years old will be admitted free.

The festival is sponsored by the Sons of Confederate Veterans.
