The Lawrenceburg City Council approved all items on the agenda during its meeting Thursday morning at the Lawrenceburg Municipal Complex.
Among the measures approved were the city’s 2026-2027 budget and tax rate on second reading, a TDOT matching grant connected to a proposed access road to Columbia State Community College from U.S. Highway 43, and traffic signal upgrades on South Locust Avenue.
Council members also approved library board appointments, a proposed property agreement involving Columbia State Community College, and a bid from Brad Slater Construction LLC for renovations to Fire Station Number 1.
Four Lawrenceburg-area residents addressed the Mayor and Council during the public comment portion of the meeting, addressing several topics with concerns involving data centers leading the way.
Councilman Chad Moore was absent from the meeting.
