500,000 Doses of Fentanyl Seized During Traffic Stop

An investigation by the North Alabama Drug Task Force has resulted in the seizure of more than one kilogram of fentanyl destined for North Alabama communities and the arrest of 45-year-old Huntsville resident Michael Fitts.  Fitts was stopped while transporting the fentanyl to Huntsville.  Officials say that the fentanyl represented approximately ½ a million potentially lethal doses.
