Lauderdale County Man Dies Following Motorcycle Crash

According to media reports, a Lauderdale County man died following a motorcycle crash Tuesday afternoon near the Natchez Trace Parkway.

Authorities say the crash happened around 1:00 PM on Lauderdale County Road 14 when a motorcycle driven by 68-year-old Brad McCorkle struck a truck.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, McCorkle was thrown from the motorcycle during the collision. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division.
