Memorial Day Closings Announced for City, County Offices

Lawrence County Government offices, including the Solid Waste Transfer Station, will be closed Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day.

The City of Lawrenceburg has also announced city offices will be closed Monday for the holiday.

City officials say residential garbage cart pickup will take place Thursday, May 28 following the holiday. Residents are encouraged to place carts out early Thursday morning because it will be a double-route day.
