Lawrence County Recognizes EMS Week

Lawrence County Executive David Morgan has signed a proclamation recognizing May 17 through May 23, 2026 as Emergency Medical Services Week in Lawrence County.

According to Lawrence County Government, this year’s national theme is “EMS Week: Improving Outcomes, Together.”

The proclamation recognizes EMS professionals, first responders, dispatchers, firefighters, law enforcement officers, nurses, and medical personnel who provide emergency care throughout the community.

County officials thanked Lawrence County EMS personnel for their service and dedication to protecting the citizens of Lawrence County.
