Lawrence County EMS Reports High Call Volume Tuesday

Lawrence County EMS reported an unusually high call volume Tuesday, saying crews responded to seven 911 calls across the county in less than one hour.

According to Lawrence County EMS, the emergencies included multiple medical calls, a choking patient, and a multi-vehicle collision.

EMS officials said crews continued responding to calls despite stretched resources and praised responders for their professionalism, compassion, and dedication during the busy period.

Lawrence County EMS also thanked all responders for their teamwork and commitment to serving the community during high call volume situations.
