James Ray Steward

James Ray Steward, 57, of Florence, passed away May 13, 2026, at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence.  He was a native of Chicago, IL, a stocker at Wal-Mart and a member of First Assembly of God on Helton Drive, Florence, AL. 

Survivors include:

Wife:  Heather Hunt Steward

Stepson:  Corey Hunt

Preceded in death by:

Parents:  William Alvin Steward & Edna Eulene Steward

There will be a memorial service for James at a later date.
