A terrorist threat called into the Limestone Alabama Courthouse Monday resulted in the arrest of New Hope resident Everett Nathanial Welch, age 42. The caller told employees of the Circuit Court Clerk’s office that there was a bomb inside the courthouse. The building was evacuated and bomb technicians with the Huntsville Police Department and ATF quickly conducted a search, determining that there was not a bomb present. Welch was arrested Tuesday on charges of making a terrorist threat in the first degree and intimidating a juror.
