Pearl Hendrix

Pearl Hendrix, age 94, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026, at NHC Healthcare Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of West Point, TN, a homemaker, an upholsterer, and a member of Park Grove Baptist. Mrs. Hendrix enjoyed cooking for her family, sewing, and working with her husband as an upholsterer. She also loved her church and church family. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Hillard Hendrix; her parents, William Mac and Dora Alice Narcissus Keeton Smith; six brothers, Edward Smith, Clifford Smith, Marcus Smith, Alfred “Bud” Smith, Delma Smith, and Billy Joe Smith; three sisters, Geneva Putman, Kathryn Perry, and Willa Dean King. 

She is survived by two daughters, Trena Maynard of Nolensville, TN and Trella Davis (Mike) of Leoma, TN; two sons, Danny Hendrix (Jan) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Tony Hendrix (Carla) of Summertown, TN; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great–grandchildren; and eight great–great–grandchildren. 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 13, 2026, with Kent McDowell and Ricky Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Kidd Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
