Authorities Warn of Traffic Violation Scam

Several North Alabama law enforcement agencies are warning residents of an on-going scam circulating in the area.  The scam involves what appears to be an official notice regarding traffic violations.  Some victims have reported a QR code was included, requesting payment.  Authorities warn residents NOT to scan any QR codes or provide any personal or financial information.  This is yet another scam, and they ask you to report any such contact through your local law enforcement agency.
