Giles County Sheriff’s Department Releases April Statistics

According to media reports, the Giles County Sheriff’s Department responded to 836 calls for service during the month of April.

Department statistics also showed 159 traffic stops, 115 bookings, and 144 warrants served.

Deputies also served 250 civil processes and responded to 10 domestic violence-related calls during the month.

Officials reported one non-fatal overdose in April.

The Giles County Sheriff’s Department says deputies patrol more than 600 square miles each day throughout the county.
