Police Warn of Fake Bills Being Used in Lawrenceburg

The Lawrenceburg Police Department is investigating multiple incidents involving counterfeit bills being used as payment.

Officials say individuals and businesses have reported accepting cash that, upon closer inspection, is marked “for motion picture purposes.”

Police are urging residents and business owners to carefully inspect any cash before accepting it as payment.
