Fire Contained at Envy Tanning Salon & Beauty Spa in Lawrenceburg

A structure fire was reported Tuesday night, April 28 at Envy Tanning Salon & Beauty Spa, located at 212 Springer Road in Lawrenceburg.

According to the Lawrenceburg Fire Department, crews arrived to find heavy smoke throughout the building and began an aggressive interior attack. Firefighters located the fire in an aesthetics room and were able to contain it to that area and the ceiling above, preventing it from spreading further.

Crews remained on scene to ventilate the building and check for any fire extension.

No injuries were reported among civilians or firefighters.

According to the daughter of the current owner, the business had recently been listed for sale. A real estate listing also shows the property and business were on the market.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. The incident remains under investigation by the Lawrenceburg Fire Marshal’s Office.
