Warrant Service Results in Pursuit, Crash, Arrest

Madison County Sheriff’s deputies attempting to serve a protection from abuse warrant Monday report that the man pulled a firearm, then fled, leading them on a vehicle pursuit.  During the pursuit a deputy was involved in a minor accident with another responding unit that was assisting with traffic control.  The pursuit came to an end when the suspect crashed his vehicle.  Fransico Collazo Medina, age 43, was arrested on charges of felony attempting to elude, obstructing a court order, interfering with judicial proceedings, and domestic violent assault.
