Huntsville Police Solve String of Criminal Mischief Crimes

Huntsville Police reported Wednesday that an arrest was made through the department that put an end to an 18-month string of vandalism incidents and closed 24 criminal mischief cases.  The nighttime incidents targeted defense contractor businesses and personal property near Explorer Boulevard.  An alert officer noticed a suspicious vehicle on Discovery Drive, leading to the arrest of 28-year-old Nathanial Jinnong Yao of Madison.  Evidence collected during a search of his home tied him to the crimes.  Yao was incarcerated on nine counts of criminal mischief.
