One Dead, One Injured in Weakley Creek Road Crash

A one-vehicle crash occurred just before 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 15 on Weakley Creek Road just east of McCarter Road in the New Prospect area.

According to reports, the vehicle rolled multiple times.

Crews on scene reported one fatality and one other patient injured. The injured patient was airlifted by Air Evac to a Nashville-area hospital for treatment.

The crash follows another serious incident Tuesday afternoon, April 14, in the area of Highway 64 and Marable Road, where Survival Flight and LifeFlight were called to the scene and airlifted patients for treatment.
