Ronnie Wayne “Pop Pop” Gray, age 61, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, April 13, 2026, at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital West in Nashville, TN after a seven month long health battle. He was a native of Pasadena, TX, grew up in Baytown, TX, and lived in Lawrenceburg, TN since 1982. Mr. Gray was a long haul truck driver with South East Carriers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Freddie Mae “Cricket” Bowden Gray; one niece Amanda Lee Gabriel; and most recently, his son, Jeremy Wayne Gray, from a motorcycle accident in September.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Angela Pope Gray of Lawrenceburg, TN; two sons, Justin Tyler Gray (Carolyn) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Cole Peyton Gray (Meleah) of Leoma, TN; four grandsons, Elijah, Izaiah, Landon, and Oakley; and one precious new granddaughter, Emmy Lou.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, April 17, 2026, at Neal Funeral Home with J.D. Bosheers to speak.
