The Tennessee Highway Patrol has announced sobriety checkpoints scheduled for Friday, April 17.
In Giles County, a checkpoint will be conducted on State Route 11 at the 13.1 mile marker.
In Lawrence County, a checkpoint is planned on U.S. Highway 43 North at the 23.4 mile marker.
In Moore County, troopers will conduct a checkpoint on U.S. 41A South approximately 0.3 miles north of the Moore and Coffee County line.
In Hickman County, a checkpoint will be held on State Route 7 at the 3 mile marker.
Officials say the checkpoints are part of ongoing efforts to promote highway safety and reduce impaired driving.
