Giles County Sheriff’s Office Reports March Activity

The Giles County Sheriff’s Office responded to 866 calls for service during March, according to newly released activity statistics.

Of those calls, 13 were related to domestic violence.

Deputies conducted 208 traffic stops during the month. The report also shows 134 bookings, 211 warrants served, and 219 civil processes served.

Officials reported two overdoses in March, including one fatality.

The sheriff’s office noted that deputies patrol more than 600 square miles each day while providing around-the-clock service to the community.
