Loretto Aldermen Honor State Champs

The Loretto Board of Aldermen heard an update on projects during the April 7 meeting from Mayor Steve McMasters. He indicated that the board of education may work with the city on a potential tennis court project that could include four courts, parking, concessions and storage. He also explained that professionals have been evaluating the city’s current trail system to determine where improvements may be needed.  Areas that need leveling or work due to erosion have been identified.  In addition, the board appointed Doug “Possum” Troop as the city’s official court bailiff, and honored the South Lawrence Lady Stallions for claiming the state basketball championship.
