Coalition Invites Community to Join Positivity Project

The Lawrence County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition is encouraging the community to take part in its annual Positivity Project on April 29.

This year, organizers say the effort is expanding with a community-wide push to share encouraging messages. Businesses and residents are invited to display positive messages on signs, social media, and throughout their spaces.

Organizers say the goal is to uplift others and promote a message that “you matter.”

The coalition also expressed appreciation to Quik Mart and Jubilee – Gifts, Plants, Hope for helping support the initiative.
