Search Warrant Leads to Drug Seizure in Leoma

Authorities executed a search warrant Tuesday, April 7 at a residence on Pebble Hill Road in Leoma, resulting in the seizure of methamphetamine, cash, and other items.

According to the Loretto Police Department, officers working alongside the 22nd Judicial Drug Task Force, with assistance from Saint Joseph Police Department, Lawrenceburg Police Department, and Lawrence County Constables, carried out the search at 23 Pebble Hill Road.

During the search, officers seized approximately 4½ ounces of methamphetamine, $1,152 in cash, and several items of personal property believed to have been purchased with proceeds from drug sales.

Officials say three individuals were located at the residence, identified as Michael Barnett, Cassandra Williams, and Damien Gieske.

The investigation remains ongoing, and all subjects will be presented to the Grand Jury at a later date.
