The Tennessee Highway Patrol has announced upcoming sobriety checkpoints scheduled for Friday, April 10.
In Giles County, a checkpoint will be conducted on U.S. Highway 31 at the 9.5 mile marker.
In Lawrence County, a checkpoint is planned on State Route 98 at the 5.5 mile marker.
In Lincoln County, troopers will conduct a checkpoint on State Route 50 at the 15.8 mile marker.
Officials say the checkpoints are part of ongoing efforts to promote highway safety and reduce impaired driving.
