Giles County Election Commission to Meet April 8

The Giles County Election Commission is scheduled to meet Wednesday, April 8 at 3:00 PM.

During the meeting, commissioners will hear public comment and consider approval of minutes from the March 18 meeting. The board is also expected to approve the worker list for the May 5 election.

Members will discuss and certify candidate petitions for the August 6 election and formally call the August 6 federal, state, and county general election.

Additional items on the agenda include discussion and a vote on the 2026–2027 budget, as well as inspection and approval of voter registration applications.

The meeting will also include time for old business, new business, and adjournment.
