Southern Tennessee Regional Health System Highlights Child Abuse Awareness Month

Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg is recognizing April as National Child Abuse Awareness Month and emphasizing the importance of child safety across the community.

In a statement, the hospital said the safety of children remains a top priority at both its main facility and local clinics. Officials also announced a partnership with A Kid’s Place – Child Advocacy Center to support efforts focused on abuse prevention and healing.

The hospital is encouraging community members to remain vigilant and report suspected abuse, reminding the public that “if you see something, say something,” and stressing that protecting children is a shared responsibility.
