Lawrence County Schools Hosting Community Discussion on Student Mental Health

Lawrence County School System is inviting the community to take part in an upcoming discussion focused on student mental health and the impact of technology.

According to school officials, the event is inspired by The Anxious Generation and will explore topics including anxiety and depression in teens, social media and phone use, how technology affects learning and behavior, and ways to better support students.

The discussion will be held on Thursday, April 2 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Lawrence County High School cafeteria.

The event is free and open to the public. A limited number of books will be available for early attendees.
