Firefighters Battle Tractor Fire

Units with Lawrence County Fire & Rescue responded to a large tractor fire in the West End fire district around 12:30 Friday.  They were able to quickly stop the progress of the fire and prevented damage to the planter attached to the tractor.  The driver escaped without injury.  The tractor was deemed a total loss.
