Huntsville City Council Approves Use of Live911

Huntsville City Council has approved the use of Live911 technology, allowing the Huntsville Police Department the ability to hear incoming 911 calls in real time and see the caller’s location while they are responding.  Department officials anticipate that this will add situational awareness and allow first responders to make faster, more informed decisions when seconds matter.
