Madison County Sheriff’s Office Conducts Traffic Safety Enforcement

The Madison County Alabama Sheriff’s Office conducted a targeted traffic safety enforcement operation Thursday that resulted in 5 arrests, impound of 6 vehicles, 11 warnings being issued and 25 citations being written to drivers.  One of the highest speeds recorded resulted in a DUI arrest, which officials point out, puts everyone on the road at risk.  They hope that continued enforcement operations will result in safer roadways for all motorists.
