Giles Officials Warn of Pharmacy Scam

The Giles County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents that a scam continues to circulate in the area.  Residents have reported receiving a call that looked as if it was coming from Pulaski Walmart, with the caller asking to discuss insurance.  In this instance, the victim reported she does not use Walmart Pharmacy, so the call quickly raised a red flag.  She shared no personal information and no loss was reported.  Officials are urging to public to remain aware about this type of scam and report it to your local law enforcement agency, should you be contacted.  They ask that you stay alert anytime a caller asks for any type of personal information.
