Florence K9 Officer Murph to Receive Protective Vest

The Florence Police Department has been notified that K-9 officer Murph will be receiving a bullet and stab protective vest, donated through the Vested Interest in K9s, Inc., charity organization.  The custom-fit vest is provided to K9 officers through charitable donations from all across the country, and are certified through the National Institute of Justice.  Across the U.S. there are an estimated 30,000 K9 officers.
