Tori Jones of Amish Country Depot was the guest speaker at the Lawrenceburg Rotary Club meeting held on Friday, March 20, 2026. Rotarian Teresa Frazier introduced the program.
Jones shared information about Amish Country Depot, located in Ethridge, which is styled after an old general store and offers visitors a unique and relaxed shopping and dining experience. She noted that the business was purchased in September 2025 and has continued to be a destination for travelers.
According to Jones, visitors from Italy, Great Britain, Iceland, and other European countries in addition to US visitors from across the country have discovered the location. Current efforts are focused on increasing awareness among local residents and encouraging them to experience what the business has to offer.
Jones emphasized that Amish Country Depot is designed to be a place where people can slow down, spend time together, and enjoy good food in a welcoming atmosphere. In addition to food offerings, the store features a variety of nostalgic and traditional items, creating a setting that encourages guests to sit, relax, and enjoy their visit. She also noted that the facility can accommodate meetings and small gatherings of up to twenty people, making it a suitable venue for community groups and events.
Rotary members expressed their appreciation to Jones for sharing her story and highlighting a unique local destination in Lawrence County.
The Lawrenceburg Rotary Club meets weekly and is dedicated to community service, supporting local initiatives, and participating in international projects, including its ongoing work in Honduras.
