Lawrence County Fire & Rescue Seeks Members for Responder Services Unit

Lawrence County Fire & Rescue is seeking individuals interested in joining its Responder Services Unit (RSU). The unit has played a key role in responding to the recent tornado touchdown, assisting with the distribution of donated items to victims and volunteers helping with cleanup efforts.

Members of the RSU have different training requirements than fire suppression personnel and are trained to provide fire rehabilitation, traffic control, and logistical support during large-scale incidents.
