Toys for Tots and VFW Help Children Affected by Lawrence County Tornado

A tornado that moved through southeastern Lawrence County on Sunday, March 15, impacted many families, and local neighbors are stepping up to help.

The Toys for Tots program and the David Crockett Post 1618 VFW are working together to ensure children who lost homes or belongings during the storm still have toys, books, and personal items.

Families affected by the storm with children who lost possessions are encouraged to reach out for assistance. Donations of books, toys, or other support are also welcome.

This effort focuses on helping kids and supporting families while the community rebuilds, without any red tape or paperwork. Neighbors helping neighbors and veterans serving the community.
