Beginning Beekeeping Workshop Scheduled

A Beginning Beekeeping Workshop will be held Saturday, March 21 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Southern Tennessee Higher Education Center in Lawrenceburg.

The workshop will cover essential equipment and gear, bee biology, ideal hive placement, obtaining and installing bees, hive inspections and management, and more.

Registration is $30 per person. Additional family members may attend for $10 each, with a limit of two discounted registrations. The fee includes a one-year membership in the Lawrenceburg Wayne County Beekeepers Association.
