Killen Police Warn Parents of Dangerous Assassination Game

The Killen Police Department has issued a warning to parents regarding a dangerous “assassination game” being played by area high school students.  Participants use Airsoft, paintball or BB guns to target one another, with the last person standing being declared the winner and receiving prize money.  They emphasize that pointing and shooting even replica guns at people, vehicles, homes or public areas can constitute criminal activity and may lead to criminal charges.  They urge parents to discuss the game with their youngsters and help them make responsible choices.
