Lawrence County Commission, Boards to Hold Series of Meetings

Several Lawrence County boards and committees are scheduled to meet in the coming days.

The Regional Solid Waste Board will meet Thursday, March 5, at 5 PM to review Lawrence County’s 2025 solid waste report.

The Budget Committee will meet Monday, March 9, at 6 PM to consider budget amendments to be presented at the Commission’s March 24 regular session.

On Thursday, March 12, at 5 PM, the Resolution Committee will meet to give final approval to resolutions appearing on the March 24 agenda. At 5:30 PM that same evening, the Committee as a Whole will hear a report on the work of the Lawrence County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

All meetings will be held in the second-floor conference room of the Administrative Center, and the public is welcome to attend.
