Every boys and girls team from every high school in Lawrence and Giles counties is among those playing in region semifinal action this week.
This evening, the girls semifinals tip off. In Region 5A, Richland will face Moore County at 6:00 PM at Eagleville. Wayne County takes on Houston County at 6:00 PM at McEwen in Region 6A. In Region 5AA, Loretto will play Community at 6:00 PM at East Hickman, followed by Summertown against Hickman County at 7:30 PM at East Hickman. In Region 6AAA, Giles County meets Franklin County at 6:00 PM at Tullahoma, and Lawrence County plays Tullahoma at 7:30 PM at Tullahoma.
Tuesday evening, the boys semifinals continue the action. In Region 5A, Richland will play Fayetteville at 6:00 PM at Eagleville. Wayne County faces Frank Hughes at 6:00 PM at McEwen in Region 6A. Region 5AA features Summertown against Lewis County at 6:00 PM at East Hickman, followed by Loretto taking on Cascade at 7:45 PM at East Hickman. In Region 6AAA, Giles County will face Creek Wood at 6:00 PM at Tullahoma, and Lawrence County plays Tullahoma at 7:45 PM at Tullahoma.
