Lawrenceburg Rotarian Recognized for Support of The Rotary Foundation

Lawrenceburg Rotarian John Johnstone was recognized for his continued commitment to humanitarian service through The Rotary Foundation at the Friday, February 27, 2026 meeting of the Lawrenceburg Rotary Club.

Johnstone was honored as a Fourth Level Paul Harris Fellow, acknowledging significant cumulative contributions that support Rotary’s global humanitarian, educational, and peace-building efforts. The recognition was presented by Rotary Foundation Chair Paul Wayne, who thanked Johnstone for his sustained generosity and dedication to Rotary’s mission.

Paul Harris Fellow recognitions are named in honor of Paul Harris, founder of Rotary, and are awarded to individuals who demonstrate outstanding commitment to the ideals of Rotary International through financial support of The Rotary Foundation. Wayne noted that contributions to The Rotary Foundation help fund projects worldwide, including clean water initiatives, disease prevention, education programs, and Rotary’s long-standing effort to eradicate polio.

The Lawrenceburg Rotary Club expressed appreciation to John Johnstone for his leadership and continued support, which help make a lasting impact both locally and around the world.
