The Lawrenceburg City Council met on Thursday, February 26.

Fire Chief Jay Moore addressed the council, stating that Fire Station 4 on North Locust Avenue is now the Administrative Headquarters for the Fire Department. A truck will still respond to some calls from that location, but daily call responses will operate from the city’s other fire stations. Chief Moore also noted that Matt Long has taken over leadership of the Fire Department’s dive team.

Agenda items included approvals for a change order on the Springer Road Extension Phase I Project, the relinquishment of a 2001 LUS utility easement on the Lanning Property Trust #1, and a resolution calling for a public hearing on the proposed annexation of 15.65 acres owned by Lane Freeman.

All resolutions on the agenda were approved.
