The District 12AAA Basketball Tournament, being held in Tullahoma, continued Monday night with the girls’ championship game between Giles County and Lawrence County. Lawrence County claimed the title with a 52-42 victory.
This evening, the boys’ consolation game features Lawrence County and Marshall County at 6 p.m., followed by the championship matchup between Tullahoma and Giles County at 7:30 p.m.
With their appearances in the championship game, the Lawrence County Lady Cats and Giles County Lady Bobcats advance to the Region 6AAA Quarterfinals on Friday, February 27. Lawrence County will host Montgomery Central at 7 p.m., while Giles County will host Fairview at 7 p.m.
