Lewis County Jail Holds Baptism for Inmates

Officials with Lewis County Sheriff’s Department announced Tuesday that a baptism service was held and five inmates opted to be baptized.  The decisions were the result of volunteers who devote their time to minister to the inmates.  A class for anyone wishing to volunteer at the jail will be held Saturday, February 28 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.  To find out more, call 931-796-3018.
