53 Meet Qualifying Deadline to Participate in Upcoming Elections

A total of 53 people met Thursday’s qualifying deadline to appear on the ballot in Lawrence County’s upcoming elections.  Three people are vying for the County Executive position and three for sheriff.  There is competition in a couple of County Commission races.  But the largest number of people qualified to seek election to the Northern, Southern and Middle District Constable seats.  To see a list of candidates, visit our website:  Radio7Media.com.

The deadline to register to vote in the May 5 Primary is April 6, and the Early Voting Period runs from April 15 through April 30.
